Lots of zombies aren’t enough zombies. That’s how AMC thinks it is has greenlit another spin-off set in The Walking Dead whose provisional title is More stories from The Walking Dead.
As reported comic book, AMC is already working on a new The Walking Dead spin-off overseen by Scott M. Gimple, AMC’s franchise creative director. This new short series is entitled More Tales of The Walking Dead (working name). It will have six separate episodes..
Each of the episodes of More Tales of The Walking Dead will deal with this tell the story of certain characters, stories that may or may not be connected (or connected to other series in the franchise). In total, This new spin-off follows the same format as Tales of The Walking DeadSeries that premiered last year.
It’s much more prepared
The main series of The Walking Dead ended last year after a total of 11 seasons. However, this does not mean that the undead cannot keep running.
to this series others have followed such as the already named Tales of The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: World Beyond and Fear the Walking Dead, which will conclude their eighth season this year. Fear the Walking Dead ending will be split into two parts with the first coming May 14, 2023 and the second premiere later this year.
But things don’t stop there, because More spin-offs are in the works: The Walking Dead: Dead City, which will be released on June 18, 2023The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, whose arrival is expected end of this yearand the upcoming Rick and Michonne series until 2024.
All this is in addition to a possible second season of Tales of The Walking Deadwhich Gimple himself doesn’t rule out: “Thales didn’t end on that cliffhanger. It’s an anthology series. I hope we can come back to that, but it’ll probably be something wild when it comes to other spin-offs.” (above comic book).
