Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, the new game from the creators of Life is Strange and Vampyr, will go on sale on November 7th.
Dontnod first announced the game in December last year, stating that it is an action role-playing game that tells the story of a ghostbusting couple, Antea Duarte and Red Raith. The two head to New Eden, a ghost-haunted community, where Antea becomes a ghost.
Along with the announcement of the date, a new trailer has also been released, which lays out more details about the plot. The game promises “impossible choices and dramatic consequences” as players decide the fate of the denizens of New Eden. “Will you keep your oath as a Banisher, or sacrifice the living in a desperate attempt to bring your beloved back?”
Pre-orders are open now and offer the chance to snag a Collector’s Edition that includes a Breakout statue of Red and Antea, an artbook, a steelbook, two Banisher rings, and a copy of the game with Wanderer Gear DLC.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will have versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC and will be available on November 7th, 2023.
