The HD remaster of the Mega Drive classic Gargoyles is out next month.
Disney, to the delight of fans, announced that the 1995 remake of the game, based on a popular animated series, would be getting an HD remaster, but hadn’t announced a date.
Now we know that the game will be available on October 19th with versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The sale is digital, reservations are open now, and the price is $14.99.
With the new version you can play with the look and feel of the original Sega console game or with new hand-drawn graphics that try to recreate the style of the series.
In addition, it was also announced that Limited Run will release three editions in physical format. The Standard is $34.99, the Classic is $69.99, and the Collector’s is $174.99.
The Classic Edition comes in a special VHS-style box set and includes a steel book, while the Collector’s Edition adds a larger box with the voices of actor Keith David, a certificate of authenticity, a pin and a Goliath figurine to the Classic content .
