Mattel has announced that Hot Wheels Unleashed has surpassed two million copies sold worldwide.
The arcade racing game developed by the Italian studio Milestone will be available from September 2021 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The publisher has also qualified that this figure does not include copies downloaded on PlayStation Plus (it was one of the October 2022 games of the month) or on Xbox Game Pass (where it entered the catalog in December 2022).
Adding players from both services together brings the total number of registered Hot Wheels Unleashed users to eight million.
