PlayStation Direct, the official PlayStation Store, arrives in Spain

Sony opened today PlayStation Direct Store in Spain. It’s an official PlayStation Store with exclusive products that allows us to shop through our own console and offers free shipping nationwide for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

It is therefore a service similar to the My Nintendo Store or the Microsoft Store, but specific to PlayStation. The service was launched in the US and UK, among others, during the period of the greatest shortage of PlayStation 5 consoles, to gradually launch new stocks. Currently on the Spanish site, the PlayStation 5 console is available in both digital and disc editions – with no mandatory bundle with other games – as well as versions of the console that add two DualSense controllers instead of one.

To make a purchase from the store we just have to access our PlayStation Network account.

In addition to the consoles, PlayStation Direct also offers PlayStation VR 2 and various peripherals, such as the DualSense Edge controller or the Pulse headset. In addition, there are games in physical format, yes, at full price.

It is to be hoped that in the future PlayStation will do some kind of special advertising for its store or launch exclusive products from it; Currently, almost everything that is on the site is available through the usual distribution channels.

Oh! And you can also reserve the upcoming products and games that will be released by PlayStation. A perhaps interesting fact given all the announcements made this week at PlayStation Showcase 2023: including the release date of Alan Wake 2, a new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI or new images of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
