Reikon Games is laying off more than half of its employees

According to various sources close to the studio, Reikon Games has laid off just over half of its staff.

This Polish studio is known for its cyberpunk shooter RUINER, released by Devolver Digital in 2017.

GamesIndustry.biz has received information about approximately 70 layoffs; on Kotaku They assume a similar number and assume it would be about 56% of the study.

The studio announced in 2021 that it was working on its next game called Final Form, describing it as a first-person shooter with a science fiction setting in which we will embody the humanoid avatar of a conscious ship whose mission is to set off more beyond the boundaries of the known universe to end a plague that threatens all life.

At the time, it was hinted that the game would be published by Prime Matter, a division of the Koch Media group that disappeared last year to join Plaion alongside Deep Silver and Ravenscourt.
