Sony has announced the games that can be downloaded for free in September as part of the PlayStation Plus subscription in the Essential tier.
The new games in the catalog will be added on September 5th and will be available until October 2nd.
The first of them to confirm yesterday’s leak is Saints Row for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. It’s a reboot of the popular open-world action game saga from Volition that launched Deep Silver last summer with a bittersweet result published public reception.
The second is Black Desert – Traveler Edition for PlayStation 4, a fantasy MMORPG with “fast-paced PvE combat, large-scale PvP warfare, multiple character classes, and different combat styles to specialize in.” This edition includes both the base game and several supplements.
Finally, the third is Generation Zero for PlayStation 4, an open-world first-person shooter set in an alternate version of ’80s Sweden, in which we’ll have to work with three friends to find out what caused an invasion of machine killers.
As already mentioned, the three titles will be available from September 5th. You then have until next Monday to add the August games, including PGA Tour 2K23, Dreams and Death’s Door, to your library.
Sony also announced a price increase for PlayStation Plus subscriptions in the same post in which it revealed the September games. All details and the new prices can be found here.
