The Pokémon HOME update, making the Pokémon Storage app compatible with creatures from the Pokémon Scarlet and Purple titles, is now available. Version 3.0.0. The application is free to download and allows you to convert the Crimson and Purple Pokémon to Pokémon HOME and the Pokémon that we have saved from other parts, such as Arceus Legends or Sword and Shield, to Pokémon Crimson and Purple – Transfer Pokemon.
The update was originally scheduled to happen just over a week ago, but was pushed back at the last minute with no explanation from The Pokémon Company. Now it has been released without prior notice. As a reminder of the update, in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple we can get a Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly with hidden abilities as a Mystery Gift.
When we transfer our Pokemon from Pokemon Scarlet and Purple to other games, their Teratype will be assigned based on their original types. This means that the Pokemon we carry over from the other editions up through Pokemon Scarlet and Purple will generally have a teratype that matches their base type(s).
Pokémon HOME v3.0.0 update maintenance is expected to begin Monday, 5/29 at 5:00 PM PT. Pokémon HOME will not be available during this maintenance.

Version 3.0.0. adds other improvements, such as the ability to convert Pokémon HOME points into League Points compatible with our Pokémon Scarlet and Purple game, or the option to swap a Pokémon’s moves when it’s transferred to one of the compatible games. It will also be the first time we’ll be able to transfer Gimmighoul’s shifting form from Pokémon Go to Pokémon Scarlet and Purple.
Pokémon HOME is available for mobile devices – iOS and Android – and via Nintendo Switch. The basic functions are free with limitations, but to unlock the full storage capacity we have to pay a monthly subscription.
